In 1880 Camille Flammarion
published L'Astronomie, in
which he included a picture similar to that of Peter Apian, showing
the passage of Halley's Comet between the Great Bear and Leo, with the
comet's tails away from the sun. This image is used on the stamp from
the British Antarctic Territories.
