Opatija is located where Rijeka is incorrectly located on the map. Rijeka is east of its location on the map about as far as it is located west of the northernmost point of the coast.
      The stamp commemorates the Flying Dutchman Class racing dinghy of the 1986 European Sailing Championships which were held in the Yugoslav coast. The picture of the stamp shows two Flying Dutchman Class dinghies with three sails and two crew.
