Anders Akerman

     Anders Akerman was the father of globemaking in Sweden, producing his first globes in 1759. The celestial globe was made in 1759. Note the constellation Reindeer in the upper right corner of the stamp.

     The one on the Swiss stamp is dated in the Scott catalog to 1594. The one from Poland is from the 15th century.
