A map of the world on an
interrupted projection. The map has two unusual features. It shows
land features in color: the interior of Australia and the
north-eastern part of Africa, as well as the interior of Arabia are
shown in shades of brown to represent deserts. And the Fiji islands
are shown enlarged in a circle.
The stamp was issued in 1977 to mark the joint meeting
of the Council of Ministers of the European Economic Community and the
Asia, Caribbean and Pacific orgainizations in April 1977.
