In 2003 the Sultanate of Oman issued two mini-sheets of four stamps each featuring Islamic manuscripts. Two of the manuscripts on the stamps are the same on both mini-sheets (the two on the right on the first sheet).

     Of the others I have been able to identify only one of the manuscripts, the one in the lower left corner of the second sheet.  This is a medical manuscript written by Rashid bin Omaira bin Thani Al-Hashmi in 1256 H. (1841 Gregorian). It has a drawing of the brain and the nerves connected to the eyes.
