The stamps were issued by Macedonia in 1994 to honor 50 years of St. Kliment of Ohrid Library of the University of Sts. Cyrilus and Methodius at Skopje, Macedonia. The stamps depict two of the many old manuscripts of the famous Ohrid Archepiscopy. The low value stamp features a 15th century manuscript; the high value, a 13th century manuscript.
