The stamp shows the map of
Greece in 1830 and in 1930.

In 1977 Greece issued a
stamp showing the dispersion of Greeks on a world map. f Greece is
highlighted in the center of the stamp.

On a stamp issued in 1978
there is a map of Chalcidice, a large three-fingered penninsula in the
Aegean Sea. Aristotle's birthplace, Stagira, is circled on the map.
Aristotle's name appears in the last line of the inscription on the
base of a statue of Attalus. The inscription (in Greek), η. Χ. 322
- 1978, indicates the 2300 years since Aristotle's death.
