Book of Hours
The stamps issued
in Luxembourg in 1986 show miniatures from a Book of Hours
prepared in the mid-fifteenth century in eastern Turkey. It is
preserved in the Luxembourg National Library.
The scenes shown are the Annunciation, the Appearance
to the Shepherds, the Nativity, the Adoration of the Magi, and the
Flight to Egypt.
