Macedonia 323-324

     The stamps issued by the Republic of Macedonia in 2005 feature two manuscripts, preserved at the National Laboratory for Conservation and Restoration at the National and University [of Ss Cyril and Methodius], Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
     The low value has a carpet page, titled: БЕНЧЕВСКО ЧЕТИЕВАНГЕЛИЕ СО МИНИЈАТУРИ XVI ВЕК, Cetvoroevangelie de Bence avec des miniatures [in French], 360 sheets, from the beginning of the 16th century.
     The high value has a picture of a person seated at a reading table, titled: ЗРЗЕВСКО ЧЕТИЕВАНГЕЛИЕ XVI-XVII ВЕК, Cetvoroevangelie de Zrzevsko [in French], 228 sheets, from the end of the 16th century.
