The Huaniaoshan Lighthouse is located at the north end of Huaniaoshan Mount, Chengsi, Zhejiang Province (30°52´N 122°14´E). The lighthouse was an important aid to navigation for ships moving north and south along the coast, and also in the Changjiang estuary and Shanghai port.
