In 1973 Venezuela issued a seven stamp set with similar designs to mark the completion of the "Golden Road" from El Dorado to Santa Elena de Uairen, the only border crossing between Venezuela and Brazil. The only differences between the stamps are the value and the picture in the upper angle of the stamp. For this page I selected the picture that covered the least of the stamp.
     The map on the stamp is rotated to the west about 45°, and the Road is marked in red.
