Hong Kong 427-430
This stamp is one of a set of four stamps issued in 1984 with a
similar design. There is no indication that Hong Kong is the issuing
postal administration on any of the four stamps. The Universal Postal
Union Convention requires the name of the issuing country must be on
the stamp in English characters (Article 8, paragraph 3.1). Since it
is not, that is a design error.
The map is titled "Hong Kong Surveyed by
Capt. Edward Belcher in H.M.S. Sulphur 1841."
