     The stamp was issued by Jersey in 1976 as one of a set of four stamps to commemorate the United States Bicentennial. The old map on the stamp is identified as a map of Virginia. That identification has been questioned, and the map identified with North Carolina, but that is incorrect, and this is a Non-Error!
