Ireland 66
"Eire" in Gaelic, the official language of
the Free State of Ireland, means "Ireland, one and undivided." The stamp issued by Ireland in 1922 does
not differentiate between the territory of Ireland, and the 5,237 square
miles of the north-east corner of the island that constitutes Northern
Ireland which is a part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
Ireland.
