Greece 1501

     In 1984 Greece issued a two stamp set to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus. The invasion displaced thousands of Greek and Turkish Cypriots and produced a regime to govern the de-facto Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, recognized only by Turkey.
